CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TRACK - (new 2012/2013 School Year)
The Children's Ministry track will involve four classes that will be specific in nature to Children's Ministry leaders and four classes that will involve practical, Biblical application. As a part of ARSOMplus, this track does not fulfill the educational requirements for credentials, but is designed to be a supplement to the Children's Pastor, or the volunteer Children's Ministry leader.
The track is designed under the ARSOM format - a textbook with study guide for pre-class work, attendance on Friday night and Saturday morning for the instruction, a test given over the study guide material, and a certificate of completetion for the class.
All classes are taught by Children's Ministry leaders who will bring wisdom and practical application at each session.
ARSOM (current or previous students) who have already taken the ARSOM courses, can take the four Children's MInistry classes and receive the certificate for completion of the track.
New students who have not taken any ARSOM courses, can take the eight Children's Ministry track courses and receive the certificate for completion of the track.
New students who do not wish to take the four ARSOM Bible courses, can take only the four Children's Ministry track courses, but will only receive certificates for the class, and not a certificate for completing the entire track.
Fees and registration will work the same for the ARSOMplus tracks as for the credentials track.

BIBLICAL STUDIES TRACK
The Biblical Studies Diploma program was designed for lay ministers to receive concentrated Biblical study with the objective of expanding their knowledge and experience. Qualified instructors in each subject will bring the texts to light and offer the student insight into scriptural passages and books from the Word.
Completion of the Biblical Studies Diploma program does not qualify a person for any type of ministry credential with the Assemblies of God, nor does it fulfill the complete educational requirements for any level of credential the student may decide to pursue.
Any student who decides to pursue ministerial credentials at some point would be required to take additional courses to complete the educational requirements for any credential level. Completion of the ARSOM study material for any level of credential does not automatically guarantee a student will be granted a credential. Credentialing is a separate process.
The Biblical Studies Diploma is offered through the Arkansas School of Ministry, a non-accredited Bible institute. ARSOM is endorsed by the Executive Presbytery of the General Council of the Assemblies of God, approved by the Arkansas District Presbytery, and is a member of the Association of District Schools of Ministry.
Completion of the courses would not automatically qualify for college credit.
